How to store leftover tomato paste:
Do not store tomato paste in the opened metal can. Transfer the leftover paste in airtight glass or metal containers and refrigerate. It will last for almost a week. To extend the shelf life upto many months, freeze the paste in ice trays and store the cubes in a heavy-duty freezer bag. While cooking, add few cubes of this as per requirement & taste and you are done!
